Hannah’s Kale Chips

Ingredients: 

  • 2 heads of curly or dino kale
  • 1 cup chopped nuts of your choosing (I like walnuts)
  • 1 1/2 cups of the best olive oil you can find (no clear bottle olive oils)
  • 1 Tsp Himalayan salt

 

 

 

Method: 

  • Preheat oven to 290, line a few baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Rip the kale into bite-size pieces and place into a big bowl (try to avoid use of the stem)
  • Grind nuts into the coarse sand like pieces, place in a small bowl add olive oil, and salt.
  • Mix up and add to the kale pieces. mix well with your hands take care to massage it gently into all the kale pieces
  • Place kale pieces (not overlapping) onto baking sheet bake for 10min then take out and flip each one, and back for another 5 min, till crispy (approx 15 min)
