Mission Statement

Better Health Clinic offers a variety of complementary health services to promote healthy living for people of all ages.

With are trained professionals that are able to address large spectrum of ailments and dysfunctions. We try to treat each patient with a holistic approach; body, mind, and spirit. We consider the whole person and try to tackle the cause of the problem. We work together as a team to ensure that each patient’s specific needs are met.

Together, we are able to collaborate our expertise to offer you the very best of of our skills.

Stacey Ayres, RMT

Stacey is the owner of Better Health Clinic. She is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and has been practicing massage therapy in Orangeville since 2005. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She has completed 5 years of study and examination at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto.  She is currently working on her thesis to complete her professional requirements to become an Osteopath Manual Practitioner. She has had experience working with children, elderly, pregnant women, athletes, motor vehicle accident victims and post-surgery rehabilitation patients. She uses a variety of manual techniques with an osteopathic approach to treat the concerns of each patient. In addition to traditional massage therapy she uses many advanced techniques including: craniosacral therapy, joint mobilizations, myofascial release and unwinding, muscle energy, and visceral manipulation.

Peter Foster, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Peter is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners. He trained at the University of Western Sydney, Australia and completed studies in 2006 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and Masters of Osteopathy.   Over the past 8 years, he has gained  experience working in esteemed clinics within Australia and Canada, global health conferences and seminars and through the mentorship of  two of Australia’s most regarded Osteopaths, Michael Solano of Eastern Suburbs Osteopathy and Bruce Lang of Sydney Osteopathy. Peter has recently made the move from Gold Coast, Australia to join Better Health Clinic in Orangeville Ontario. He is enthusiastic to have moved from a big city to a “perfect-sized town” and looks forward to getting involved in community sports and recreation.

Sandra Fripps, RMT

Sandra graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2004. She has been practicing Massage Therapy in the Orangeville since she graduated. She formerly worked at a physiotherapy clinic where she gained experience and specialization in helping patients rehabilitate from injuries and set backs. Sandra is very devoted to her practice and cares for each one of her patients. For that reason she makes herself available seven days a week to help accommodate those in need.

Dr. Danielle Marchildon, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Danielle Marchildon received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo and her graduate ND degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She then moved back to her roots to service the Orangeville area as a naturopath. Being a mom with three small children, Dr. Marchildon enjoys the small-town lifestyle. Dr. Marchildon focuses her family practice on clinical nutrition (dietary modifications, supplements, IV therapy), lifestyle counselling, acupuncture (including facial rejuvenation), herbal medicine, and homeopathy. Dr. Marchildon treats virtually any condition by addressing the root cause of disease rather than simply masking and reducing symptoms. She specializes in pediatrics, fertility issues, digestive disorders, chronic pain management, detox, and mental health issues. Dr. Marchildon carries a naturopathic medical license for Ontario, and maintains current registration with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She regularly updates her education by attending naturopathic seminars throughout North America. Dr. Marchildon looks forward to working with you on your journey to optimal health.

Kathy Shackleton:  Nutritionist, RNCP RHN

Kathy, a 2005 graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, is also a Registered Nutritional Consultant and a member of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. She has a life-long interest in the natural health healing arts and is committed to sharing her passion for holistic wellness.   Kathy believes that food can be used to enhance health; for example, our ability to metabolize food is as important as what we choose to eat.  Even normally healthy, nutritious food is of limited value when digestive power is weak!  Kathy develops close working relationships with her clients to address health concerns and enhance overall well being. Stacey Lee Shaw, RMT

Stacey Lee ShawShe graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1995, and held an active membership with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario 1996. She offer’s Bowen Therapy, Reiki, and Hot stone massage, in addition to Swedish massage. She has studied Labour Support as a Massage Therapist, as well as Equine Massage.

Susan Stewart, Holistic Practitioner

Susan has a passion and gift for helping people along their journey of health.  She specializes in Core Emotional Release work and Stress Management.  Susan is a Reiki Master, Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga of the Heart Instructor. She is skilled in Cranial Sacral Therapy and Somato-Emotional Release. Susan offers Reiki attunements as well as workshops in First and Second Degree Reiki.

Nicole is the “good fairy” of the clinic that keeps everything at the here running smoothly. She is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone always ready to help you with scheduling or any questions you might have.
